PURPOSE
The board is to advise and assist the League Director in making policy, improving the program and in coordinating the state and national tournaments.
MEMBERSHIP
The board consists of the League Director and a minimum of five members.
SELECTION OF BOARD MEMBERS
It is the League Director's responsibility to fill vacancies on the board. The League Director will present new candidates to the board for approval. The board will approve new members by reaching a consensus.
CANDIDATES FOR NEW BOARD MEMBERS
Anyone wishing to become a member of the board should inform one of the board members. Their name will be put on a list to be considered for the next opening.
TERM
Members are appointed to the board to serve as long as they are involved and committed to the program. Board members wishing to resign should give the board at least 90 days notice.
HOW TO REPORT PROBLEMS
SPECIAL REPORTS TO HIGH SCHOOL SUPERVISIORS AND HOST CLUB PERSONNEL
Please report all situations that occur concerning High School Racquetball matches that merit the attention of the Missouri High School Racquetball Association Director and Board. Direct all concerns to Dan Whitley at dwhitley@vettasports.com. The report will be forwarded to the entire board for review. All situations will be used to identify phases of the racquetball program that require immediate attention.
Please clearly identify all pertinent dates, location of the match, and the teams, players, coaches/supervisors, and/or club personnel involved. All instances involving unsportsmanlike conduct on the part of coaches, acting coaches, parents, players, or fans should be reported in this report. Prompt reporting of problems will receive immediate attention of the Missouri High School Racquetball Association Director and Board and will help to alleviate any misunderstandings. Please be as specific as possible in the explanation of the matter being reported.
